Our quaint chalet is tucked under towering redwoods

The Santa Cruz Mountains run from the Silicon Valley in the north, home to technology and e-commerce, to the town of Santa Cruz in the south, famous for the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

In between, the formerly rough-and-tumble logging towns that follow the San Lorenzo River valley are again covered with vast tracts of coastal redwoods, now preserved in several state parks. With the varied scenery—from majestic mountains to towering trees and rushing rivers—and quaint shops, the San Lorenzo Valley is a favorite spot for visitors from all over the world.
